Covid-19 Responce Plan

In accordance with Executive Order N-33-20, issued March 19, 2020 by Governor Newsom, electricians are considered essential services and are allowed to stay open. The executive order and additional instructions for California can be found at https://covid19.ca.gov/. We are also following CDC guild lines from https://www.cdc.gov/.  As such we are still here for you in these hard times to provide services to our community. We are placing a priority on work requests that meet the health and welfare of our community.

We count ourselves lucky to be serving Siskiyou and Shasta Counties, that have so far had comparatively a very minimal amount of viral spread. Even so, we are doing our best to keep contamination down as much as possible. These are some the precautions and recommendations we have implemented and requested our employees to follow, but are not limited to:

  • Fresh water and soap is available to our employees at their job sites, and have been advised to wash their hands regularly for 20 seconds each time.

  • Whenever possible, our employees should stay at least 6ft apart. However, the nature of our job requires our employees to perform some tasks in closer proximity than this.

  • Employees should cough into their elbow.

  • Employees should not touch their eyes, nose, or mouth.

  • Employees should not shake anyone's hands.

  • Our office staff are working from home.

  • Any sick employees have been encouraged to take time off.

We thank the first responders for being able to take care of our community. We would also like to thank everyone who is self quarantining for helping slow the spread of the virus. We're all in this together.

Sincerely,

The  Diversified Electric, Inc. Team
